Staff Positions Open

Most of my staff has been busy lately, and while we love seeing new members, we're running out of people who can actively keep an eye on the site and welcome them! Not only that, but without active staff, the site is harder to contain and members can be at loss, and potential members will often turn away from us. Being a staff member is a large responsibility, but it is important and actually pretty enjoyable!

While many are needed, some are currently needed more than others. From most needed to least needed- Admin Assistant, Tumblr Mod, Global mod

Specific Requirements
Depending on what you want to apply for, there is a different set of requirements.

Roleplay Moderator
A roleplay moderator is expected to look over the roleplay section and make sure that roleplays haven’t gone to OOC chat, include explicit sexual content, or go against the site’s rules in any other form.

• You must be active 
  

• You must have an email, skype, or Tumblr that you often check
  
• You must have at least 2 years of experience in roleplaying. (This includes anything from script to multi-paragraphs) 
  
• You need to have a good understanding of how our forum roleplaying works 
  

General Moderator
General Moderators are expected to look over the general sections and make sure threads are on topic and don’t break any website rules. You will also be expected to report art theft in the creativity boards.

• You must be active
  
• You must have an email, Skype, or Tumblr that you often check 
  
• You need to be able to reverse image search, through at least two websites such as saucenao or google images 
  

Global Moderator
A global moderator is expected to do double the work of other moderators in case of shortage. They also have more freedom on staff-specific options. Global moderators are expected to both scan roleplay sections and general sections, as well as keep the forum lively. 

• You must be active
• You must have an email, Skype, or Tumblr that you often check 
  
• You need to have a good understanding of how our forum roleplaying works 
  
• You need to know how to reverse image search through at least one website 

Admin Assistant
Admin Assistants play an important role in how the forum receives and keeps it’s members. They are expected to not only moderate parts of the forum, but keep the forum lively by playing in forum games, actively participating in roleplays, and keeping the chat box full of chat rather than a bunch of “Hello?” They are also expected to do work outside of the forum, such as make graphics and advertise. At least one requirement marked with an * needs to apply to you.

• You must be active 
• You must have an email, Skype, or Tumblr that you often check. 
• You must have a strong understanding on how our forum roleplay works 
• You must have at least 2 years of experience in roleplaying, and you must be able to roleplay at least one official character from APH. (This includes anything from script to multi-paragraphs) 
• You must have a basic understanding of html 
• *You need to have a photo editing/drawing program that you can use well 
• *You need to be skilled in advertising 

Tumblr Mod
Tumblr Mods are not actual staff on the site, but they help to run the tumblr page and advertise through tumblr. They are expected to automatically answer asks on the tumblr page and try to draw tumblr users in to the website. They will also be expected to advertise, promote, and post updates about the site when I am unable to. A tumblr mod will not be given special privileges on site, and other staff can also apply to be a tumblr mod.

• You must be active on the site
• You must have a tumblr (and possibly and email or skype)
• You need to be skilled in advertising
• You must have a basic understanding on how to modify HTML on tumblr ("Pretty up posts")
