Why make two in a few days? I dunno I felt like it. XD
ALSO IGNORE EVERYTHING ABOUT HUNTER TO DRAGON RATIOS; WE WOULD LIKE AT LEAST ONE TO TWO MORE HUNTERS BEFORE STARTING. ALSO IGNORE ANYTHING THAT SAYS YOU CAN'T BE A HUNTER AND A DRAGON (you can control one hunter and one dragon if you wish).

___Intro___
In olden times mythical creatures weren't fantasy, they were reality. In those times dragons were magnificent creatures.. Known for their knowledge and wisdom, they were sought out by many.. However, as realization set in place that these beings were indeed not like them, not 'human', worry grew among the populous. Worry, turned into fear, which turned into violence. Teams of warriors were gathered together and sent after the dragons on behalf of the people.. These dragons being slayed one after the other. Some dragons fought viciously, while others refused to harm the humans as they died under their hands.. Other dragons last hope was to preserve the next generation.. and so they used their magic, preserving their childrens souls as human children, so that they could live..
..And yet even so they were still dragons. These very children, most without a human caretaker, grew up through tribulations.. knowing that they were once dragons by memory, and knowing what their families had told them.. "You will one day find a way to shift back into your true form." How? Why? If they had their powers as a dragon still, why did they need to go back.. and.. if they did find a way to change back.. would they be able to garner the protection of their human forms once again..?
And if they lost control of their powers, would the humans discover their guise?
__Summary and details__
The setting is in fantasy ancient asia, meaning you don't have to be 100% factual with your posts they can be mostly general (details are encouraged if you can add them though!). The general idea is that THE DRAGONS ARE ALL THE ASIAN NATIONS but do not fret; there's another type you can be.. There are, of course, Dragon Raiders or Dragon hunters if you prefer that. (For the sake of this roleplay though, no more then one hunter for every two dragons).
Basically the dragons were slaughtered by human kind. Most of their children were too young to be taught how to use their respective dragon powers and thus when they were sealed into their human bodies they had no real seal on their powers (they're the key to allowing them to transform back into a dragon if they so wish). As the children grew up they had to learn themselves how to use them.. Depending on the power some of them might have gone into isolation until they could fully control it (if they ever figured out how to to begin with).
I'm going to make this clear, there's going to be phases in the plot regarding their knowledge of actually becoming dragons again.
Phase 1: Let's find out how to become dragons again!
Phase 2: Oh.. so it's impossible to actually become dragons again?
Phase 3: WAIT, everything we know is a lie!? (meaning they can actually be dragons again)
It's weird but I think it would be interesting. There's a lot you can do when the dragons are all trying to go for the same thing anyway :3
Enough about the Dragons, let's talk about the Dragon Raiders.
The Raiders are just that; treasure hunters, hired men (or crooks) and people who just really hate dragons who go out into the dragon homes and slaughter them. They raid what's there, raid the bodies (dragon parts are quite valuable) and report back for even more of a cash reward from the government (or whomever hired them). Basically their told by the public and by those who have been by dragons attacking out of self defense that they're dangerous, untrustworthy, and they all need to be eliminated. Most if not all will believe this, if not, just accept it and move on with it because if they don't they'll be seen as a sympathizer and dealt with accordingly.
I don't want to force anything on the raiders in how they think; the phases are generally just for the Dragons because it's something they've sought after and then it's shattered. Overtime though if you want your hunter to sympathize with the dragons despite any consequences you can do that.
__Rules__
1) Canon characters and eastern nations only for the Dragons. Nyos, 2Ps, and POSSIBLY OCs for the hunters (check the applications section you guys will have a more in depth app if you plan to be an OC).
2) Try to reply weekly. If your going on vacation or if you have personal or family issues going on let us know, but if that's the case
3) A paragraph by my standards is 4-5+ sentences, more is definitely encouraged. This is the lit side of the forums so it is definitely encouraged :3
4) When going OOC you can do it in the same post. Typically I see people do (( blah )), [[ blah ]], OOC: blah blah but if you have another style feel free to do that as well (as long as it's quite obvious your going OOC). Just don't be OOC randomly in the middle of the reply.. use OOC at the beginning or at the end of the actual reply or as a separate post if you would prefer that. If you have to explain something or you have a term that might be confusing and you wish to clarify it at a certain section, feel free to use * and put it where your OOC area is.
5) No multiple characters for Dragons. As of right now I'm not entirely sure about Raiders but as of this moment of time no multiples for them either.
__Applications__
Please note that I don't want more Hunters then there are Dragons. To try and do this, for the moment, there will be one hunter for every two dragons. But even so even if there seem to be enough hunters please do not let that discourage you from submitting a hunter application! I just don't want their being 5 hunters and 2 dragons.. xD; If I feel we could have another hunter we'll gladly welcome you! :3
Also for Dragons that can't figure out an age I can give you a scale:
0-100 = Elementary school, middle school age
101-200 = Highschool freshmen to Seniors age
201-300 = College and early adulthood
Don't be older then 300 xD; Your supposed to be young when your families were killed.

Dragon Abilities and Complications: When he was first sealed into his human body he still didn't have full control over his abilities, and, in fact, poison would freely infect the air around him. It would kill nearly every human he came into contact with, and remembering what had happened to his parents it truly frightened him. He didn't want to be found out.. didn't want to hurt anyone without meaning too.. and so for most of his human life he lived in a cave. Over the years he was able to seal most of it away.. But he's still very wary of people touching him for too long (or at all). Other then being able to seal it, the fact that it's poison means it's dangerous to everyone around him. He hasn't really used his powers to try to become a dragon again.. nor has he even bothered to learn much about it at all (all he knows how to do it seal and emit it).
Family History/Back story:
Despite being Poison dragons his family was always very conscious about what their powers could do to the environment and to surrounding creatures. They were masters of keeping their abilities sealed, and when they did use it they were able to circle it around a single target so it wouldn't affect the surrounding life. Their poisons, if worked effectively, could even be used as medicines though only the older dragons could ever do such a thing. When their family was finally raided, the mother refused to fight but the father poisoned each and every single one of them.. Only finally defeated by a mage who had learned to protect himself from poison.
